Sylva van Sofilantjes

A quick, fun shirt, which looks just a little bit different. Also, a great pattern to use scraps, eventhough I haven't actually done that yet. Especially the full length sleeve, which is divided into 3 parts, is fun to play around with.

For my daughter I had some flamingo fabric still laying about, add a little pink and everyone is happy!

Een leuk, snel shirt dat er toch net even anders uitziet. Ook heel handig om restjes in te verwerken, al heb ik dat nog niet gedaan. Zeker de lange mouw optie in 3 delen is leuk om mee te spelen. Voor dochter had ik nog flamingostof liggen. Beetje roze erbij en iedereen is tevreden.

Maat 110, size 5Y

Eventhough Sylva is a pattern for girls, you can actually use it for boys too! You don't have to change anything in the pattern in the smaller sizes, since you won't notice the slight curve. For larger boys I would adjust the pattern. For my son I used the back option for the hooded version. I folded the pattern for the neckline and placed it from the fold as far as I needed. You can of course just create your own neckline pattern.
For my son I made a size 3Y(98) and it fits him really well. Do note, I have a slim, but sturdy boy at home.

Hoewel Sylva een patroon voor meisjes is, kan het prima voor jongens. Zeker de kleine maten zijn nauwelijks getailleerd. Voor de grotere zou ik het patroon aanpassen naar een rechtere versie. Ook het achterpand gebruikt voor de capuchonversie. Halsboordpatroon dubbelgevouwen en vanaf de stofvouw gelegd zodat ik de gewenste lengte. Uiteraard kan je ook gewoon een nieuw patroondeel tekenen. Voor zoonlief heb ik een maat 98 gemaakt, past mijn smalle vent heel mooi!
